These courses sound so amazing. Thank you I ❤ it Richard!!! End time's harvest. So beautiful. The Lord love's and is able to use the broken hearted.😢 Take care of your beautiful selves🙏✨🩵 Watching your broken heartedness in those conversations around the scandal gave me so much hope as a newly saved Christian.🌸✨🩵 Will be praying for you all.
What a needed encouragement at this moment of horrible scandals, economic hardships and confusion. I am reminded that God still has so much ahead as His Kingdom comes! I'm a missionary in Eastern Europe seeing the pain in Ukraine, the discouragement among missionaries crying out, "Where is our God?", and longing for hope all make your message a drink for the thirsty and wounded. Bless you guys!!
My family joined GCF when we moved to Wilmore in 1995. I went to Asbury after high school (you preached at my freshman orientation). Mom and Dad (Harvey and Marilyn Brown) were in a small group with you. I babysat your boys back in 2003 or 2004. So my family has crossed paths with you all and I appreciate you and Rachel (even if that was many moons ago 🤭🤭). Thank you all for taking a stand during such a difficult time. You all are a blessing.
I'm so thankful to hear some of your story. A friend at church shared your psalm 139 course and I've done another since. Being a single mom who's also been in a wilderness season for the last 6 months... I truly appreciate your courses being free. I don't think I could've gone through them and learned so much about the Father and the Son during this critical time in my life. You've been a blessing, thank you and thank you for sharing what led you here.
Allen, if you haven't discovered the writings of T.Austin-Sparks, they will make your heart sing. The most Christ-centered ministry I've ever countered.
To know Christ in His suffering and to suffer the hand of betrayal as He did is a deep dive experience in the refiner's fire. Thank you for your honesty in sharing this. May it help bring healing to all who have been affected by this scandal including those of us on the worldwide fringe who found intimacy with God through the IHOP message and are devastated by the leadership failures.
Allen, I love you so much. The Excellencies of Christ class changed my life. God allowed IHOP to bring forth messages to put into the Body of Christ and is now continuing to teach us. You have Fathered us well and have nothing to be ashamed of. Praying for you and your family through this transition.
Allen, you don't know me personally, tho we've chatted but you were such a help and father of the Word to us here in KC. When you left FC, it was never the same. Really value your ministry all these years and openness over the past year with all that's gone down. Only the Lord knows your pain thru it all.
Being able to say you're proud of your husband standing for righteousness say's it all. I will be praying for their heart's these beautiful strong kind men.🙏✨🩵🌸
Understandably, the depth of your grief can be overwhelming. But despite the implosion in KC, know that you have touched so many hearts in an exponential way. I’m not just saying that because you were my favorite speaker since 2008, but my current worship pastor in a little church in WI and his wife came from KC and they are wonderful. And I know another worship leader close to us, also a dear person. The failure of a few doesn’t put out the light of God that you sparked in these leaders who are now sparking into the churches they lead. Thank you for your humility and deep heart for the Lord. The spirit in people recognize the Holy Spirit in you. Bless you and your family and your ministry!! 🙌🏼
Thank you for sharing how you dealt with life’s grief. No matter the circumstances we all must learn to trust God more than we ever have before. Many years ago we listened to you teach in KC and were forever inspired to never turn back from focusing on an intimate relationship with God.
😊Dear Allen Hood, although we have never met, I had the pleasure of hearing you speak at conferences several times at IHOPKC, as well as taking several of your online courses over the years. You have been one of my favorite instructors in the WORD of GOD! The humility and love you display in encouraging others to know Christ is breathtaking, in a world filled with so many distractions. I was moved to tears watching your video today, but specifically when you mentioned that GOD had given you the “honor” of being an advocate as you were the first person Jane Doe would choose to call. I just pause in awe of that statement, thinking of all the people she knew, God knew you could be trusted to advocate for her. That even though it would come at “great cost” - you Allen Hood, would be willing to walk in “ the fellowship of HIS sufferings.” For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show HIMSELF strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to HIM. Thank you that even though it cost you reputation, finances, heartache, friendship, grief and so much more… you still said yes, because you KNOW THE LORD SEES YOU!
I was that one almost 40 yrs ago,. I was in a ministry for 4 yrs and the leader of that ministry (who I look to as a father) took advantage of me and when God exposed it,he manipulated me into lying, (taking all blame) because he said the ministry and all those I loved would be lost if the truth came out. I was sent away and to this day very few know the truth. It almost completely destroyed me. Over time the Lord healed me and I forgave all. Thank you for being obedient to Holy Spirit. Abundant Blessings…
Although I appreciate your story and confessions and followed IHOP for years I must protest. Do you hear yourself? "Maybe I'll have to get a job" Oh how low!!! Oh to be like Paul and work what shame! to have to get a real job and stop begging for money. You prayed can I just stop asking for money!! Yes you should not be depending on anyone! it's called getting a job like 99.9999 percent of the church body!! Paid Professional Christians standing up above everyone else is an unbiblical travesty and tragedy in the church.Creates perpetual babies and a superior elitest Pastors who often feel untouchable and use their self proclaimed "authority" to manipulate and abuse the untaught. The paid almighty pastor "I'm the pro sit down and shut up listen to me" clergy is unbiblical period and is the biggest part of the problem you found yourself a part of and are still a part of. Please please don't stop at your repentance for this particular event because this paid professional pastor industrial business model is trash and has caused immense harm to the Lord's body. Repent from that as well and start teaching the truth about biblical body life instead of paid "professional ministry". Look around abusive ministries are everywhere. I have been unwittingly a part of several and have seen the light. It's called a five fold ministry, no superstars, no mega churches, one head Jesus- one body- everyone else period with appointed multiple elders. Not a single apostolic letter was written to a "Pastor" but to the Church some true basic bible study reveals the corruption of the current state of the horrible single leader model. The broken unhealthy desire to be an important religious figure is out of control, simply look at what Jesus said about those Religious figures wanting honor in public, nothing different going on now. Jesus fills that roll.
These courses sound so amazing.

10:17 , yes brother if we could all get back to Jesus alone! It's what has set the people free we work with here in Africa

“Fathering a family, not a vision.” Excellent
